With the number of land scams that happen in Uganda generally in Kampala and in the growing urban centers, most first-time investors or landowners are always confused when it comes to who they should buy land from or trust; Is it the ‘Bibanja owners or real estate companies?

There are few advantages of buying land from ‘Bibanja owners’ because dealing with Bibanja owners at times requires some special form of expertise or involvement of land experts so that you don’t get swindled. But dealing with the real estate companies, you are very sure of the real ownership.

You know what, after two weeks, dealers resell the same land he had paid for. He said he paid double again for the same land but after a long struggle.
